2012 – Year in Review

A HUGE thank you to all of my friends, family, and clients for all of your love and support throughout the past year. I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of you and I’m honored to have had the opportunity to work with you!As I r…eflect on what a great year 2012 was, a fellow photographer inspired me to put together a collection of all of my pictures from the year. You are all wonderful, and looking back at all of your images reminded me of how lucky I am to have such fabulous clients.

Catching up on October blogging…

OMGoodness, can’t believe it’s already November!  This fall has flown by so quickly and I’m thankful to all of my clients who have kept me busy and helped make this one huge blog post!  I always tell myself that I am going to be better about blogging, but alas, it never happens.  So, here’s my quick catch up.

To all the families featured in this post- I apologize for not writing an individual post for each of you.  You’re all fabulous and I heart you all!  But, I just know that if I took the time to write commentary on each one because I slacked so long, I’d never finish… this year at least!

This little girl was just the sweetest!  Not only is she adorable, but she is one tough cookie!  We took the N Family’s pictures in Long Grove, where the walkways are cobblestone and uneven terrain.  Despite the fact that she fell and skinned her knees twice, she was up and ready for more pictures with the biggest smile in less than a minute!  What a trooper!  Aren’t her blue eyes the prettiest?  🙂

A Family – North Shore Family Photographer

This little guy was turning one just a few days after our shoot.  He’s so loved that his grandparents and great aunt came in from California and Arizona to celebrate with him.  It was a great opportunity to get some family shots along with his first year pictures.  I’m so glad they chose me to capture these special moments between them.  Happy birthday big guy.  Hope it was fabulous!

Rachel & Joey

I met Rachel a few months ago and we’ve become good friends since.  Needless to say, I was honored, flattered, and super excited when she asked me if I would take her engagement pictures.  Rachel knew she wanted pictures by Lake Michigan, so we went to the Glencoe Beach to take them.  It was a gorgeous night with a beautiful sunset and a super sweet couple who were such troopers walking through burrs for a shot against a cool looking wall.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your exciting day to come guys!

This is one of the sweetest families ever!  The little girls were spunky and full of personality.  They totally remind me of my nieces.  And, the parents were so easy to talk to I felt like I was hanging out with my sister and brother-in-law.  They were so much fun to photograph and how CUTE are they!
